The Bright Green Homes project is a collaboration between Bristol City Leap and Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council, and Bath and Northeast Somerset Council. It aims to deliver low carbon, energy efficiency and cost-saving measures for homes across the South West. The project will fund and support eligible households to install a range of insulation and low-carbon technologies.

The Bright Green Homes project offers a variety of insulation and energy efficiency measures:

 

Windows and Doors

Electric Storage Heaters

Cavity Wall Insulation

External Wall Insulation

Loft Insulation

Under Floor Insulation

Air Source Heat Pump

Solar PV

 

To be eligible for funding, you must meet the following criteria:

The privately owned property must be occupied by the owner.

The household’s total combined annual income must be below £36,000.

To apply, your property must have an EPC rating of D, E, F, or G. Don’t worry if your property doesn’t currently have a valid EPC – you’re still eligible to apply!

 The property’s central heating system cannot be fueled by mains gas.

Eligibility is limited to residents of Bristol, North Somerset, and Bath and North East Somerset.

You may automatically qualify based on your postcode, regardless of your income.
